“…might we just stop bombarding you with 2.3-second dishes that only require one ingredient? I understand…we’re all busy. But let’s get back to the fact that well-made burgers don’t grow on trees.”
Ironically, it sounds like he’s attempting to persuade you to cook, but he’s not. Is this a promotion for the cookbook? The point is that the food in this book is a self-evident invitation. Great cooking takes time, and it should. Now is the moment to go all-in and get your hands dirty in the kitchen. Or don’t, as the case may be. Alternatively, you may hire someone to prepare the food for you.
